Diverse Communities

April 25, 2018 | By Pickett Dummigan McCall LLP

There has been a lot of discussion related to the Statements Against White Nationalism and Normalization of Violence recently published in the OSB Bulletin.

Our firm believes  it is the duty of every lawyer to respect the dignity of every human being.

We fully support the Statements Against White Nationalism and Normalization of Violence.

Some lawyers are unhappy with the statements made in the publication and they want to be heard by demanding a refund of their bar dues.

Pickett Dummigan McCall LLP wants to be heard by making a donation today to the Oregon State Bar’s Diversity and Inclusion program, specifically to the Opportunity in Law in Oregon program (“OLIO”).

Our donation will ensure those demanding a refund will not hurt the bar programs that support our diverse communities by even one cent.

Diverse Communities

We are proud to represent people from all backgrounds and cultures and we will continue to make sure that our clients and all communities are treated equally before the law, feel safe in our courts, and respected by the legal community.

We urge all law firms and lawyers in Oregon who support diversity to join us in solidarity with our specialty bar members by giving money to the State Bar OLIO program.

We stand proudly with our specialty bar associations,
