About
Rachel Jennings
Rachel earned her law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School where she focused her studies on environmental litigation and appellate advocacy. Through Rachel’s second year of law school, she held several research assistant positions, working on environmental issues and writing a supplemental textbook on natural resources law. She was the recipient of the Bernard O’Rourke Award for best original research paper on an environmental law topic, a member of the Environmental Moot Court, served as Online Journal Editor for the Environmental Law Review, and participated in Earthrise Law Center.
Rachel joined Pickett Dummigan Weingart as a law clerk where she was able to use her research and writing skills to directly benefit individuals and their families harmed by the negligence of others. This invaluable experience brought abstract legal theories into stark focus through real-world application.
Rachel is a fourth generation Montanan, raised in a playground of forests and mountains. From a young age, she knew she wanted to be an advocate. Prior to law school, Rachel was elected to the Montana Sierra Club Executive Committee, appointed to the Sierra Club National Youth Leadership Team, and volunteered as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for unrepresented children.
Rachel truly believes everyone deserves their day in court and is driven by her desire to be an advocate. She works tirelessly to achieve the best result for not only her clients, but all Oregonians—an aspiration drawn from her mentor, Randy Pickett.
