About
Samantha N. Stanfill
Samantha knew she wanted to be a lawyer after joining her high school’s mock trial team where she made it all the way to the state championship. Samantha moved to Portland to pursue her bachelor’s degree in art history at Portland State University. After college, Samantha earned her law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School where she focused her studies on advocacy at trial.
After her first year of law school, Samantha worked as a judicial extern for Judge Susan M. Svetkey, where she observed courtroom procedures and managed Multnomah County’s Child Representation Project. During her second year of law school, Samantha worked simultaneously at Lewis & Clark’s Small Business Legal Clinic and at Pickett Dummigan Weingart as a law clerk where she gained firsthand experience in fighting for the rights of injured and disadvantaged clients. Samantha acted as secretary for the Women’s Law Caucus and re-established Lewis & Clark’s chapter of If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice.
Samantha is honored to seek justice on behalf of her clients every day. The best part of her job is being a safe landing space for clients who might not have anyone else to speak up for them.
